Billing, Trials and Refunds

What you are charged, when, and what happens when something goes wrong.

Last updated 27 September 2026

1. Subscriptions

Membership is billed in advance, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you choose, and renews automatically until you cancel. The price, currency and billing period are shown before you pay and on every receipt.

2. Trials

Where a trial is offered, its length is stated at checkout. Unless you cancel before it ends, it becomes a paid subscription at the price shown. We will email you before that happens.

3. Tax

Prices are exclusive of tax unless stated. Applicable sales tax, GST/HST or VAT is calculated at checkout based on where you are and appears on your invoice.

4. Changing plan

Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal so you keep what you have paid for.

5. Cancelling

Cancel at any time in Settings → Membership → Manage billing. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your library remains available until the end of the period you have paid for. Cancelling does not delete your account or your files — deleting your account is a separate, deliberate step.

6. Refunds

If the Service has not worked for you, or you were charged for something you did not intend, write to contact@cine.gallery and we will look at it properly. Where a charge was our error we refund it in full. Beyond that we consider refunds case by case and in good faith, and we would much rather give you your money back than have you feel cheated. Statutory rights of withdrawal that apply where you live, including in the EU and the UK, are honoured regardless of anything in this section.

7. Failed payments

If a payment fails, our processor will retry and we will email you. Access pauses rather than ending, and resumes as soon as the payment goes through. We will not delete your library over an unpaid invoice without telling you clearly and giving you time to act.

8. Price changes

We will give at least thirty days' notice by email before any price increase affecting your renewal. If you do not want to continue, cancel before it takes effect.

9. Talking to us first

If anything in this document, or anything about how we have treated you, concerns you, write to contact@cine.gallery before taking a formal step. We reply within five business days and tell you what we can and cannot do.

Nothing here removes any right you have under Canadian law or the law where you live, including your right to complain to a regulator or, in Ontario, to bring a claim. We only ask for the chance to put it right first.
