Rights in what you upload

You keep them. We only get what we need to run the service for you.

01Your work stays yours

Uploading does not give us ownership of anything. You grant us a limited, revocable licence to store, process and show your media back to you and to anyone you deliberately share it with — nothing more. Delete an asset and that licence ends with it.

What you keep, and the narrow licence we need.

02What you may upload

Material you own, material you have permission to use, or material you may lawfully use as reference under the copyright law that applies to you. Reference and research use is often permitted; redistribution usually is not. If you are unsure, the safe course is to treat your library as private working material, which is how it is built.

03What you may not upload

Anything unlawful, anything you have been told to stop using, and anything you have no right to place in cloud storage. See the Acceptable use policy.

04If someone else's work is here

If you believe material in cine.gallery infringes your rights, tell us and we will act. See Copyright and takedown. Please write before filing anything formal; nearly every case we have seen is resolved in a day by a short email.

Still stuck? Write to contact@cine.gallery — a person reads every message.
